“Tourists” (2025-)
They pass, they look, they capture, unaware that they themselves are becoming images.
Mirial grasps them within the flow where time stretches out and contours dissolve.
Monuments begin to fade as landscapes vanish. The diffusion of presence is what remains, their shadows of travel.
In a world saturated with selfies, Tourists reverses the gaze: those who photograph become the subjects.
Without retouching, in the slowness of the gesture, Mirial reinvents the crowd, fragile, shifting, hinting immaterial.
Only seven photographs are presented on the site, the series being currently being developed as part of an editorial project.
